A watercolour sketch done on Beauport Beach on Jersey, one of the Channel islands. This is how the beach looks like in the early hours on a sunny day before people start arriving. The beautiful turquoise colour of the shallow sea and the contrasting golden sand is really captivating. As if I was sitting on a tropical beach listening to the gentle murmuring of the waves as they were coming closer and closer to me on the sandy beach.
