Watercolour painting of people on the beach near the village of Burton Bradstock in Dorset in England. Many years ago I set out to travel along the coast of Britain to paint and sketch in some of its beauty spots. This was one of the most relaxing beaches with only a small crowd. The hot pink umbrella instantly caught my attention and prompted me to paint the scene. I created textures on the dominating foreground to add interest and perspective.
