This beach is located on the East Sussex coast of England near the small town of Rye. Camber Sands is the only sand dune system on this coastline. Sand dunes along the coast always inspire me to paint. I love the shadows of the grassy areas on the sand which is the main focus of this painting although it turned out rather colourful and expressive unintentionally. I just painted all the colours I could see.
