12x16 in ~ Painting, Watercolor
Watercolour painting of a hillside village on the Portuguese island of Madeira. I took a tour round Madeira many years ago. We went along the Lavadas (channels) that the Portuguese built in the 16th century in order to carry water from the mountains to agricultural areas. We past this village on our way in the mountains. There are now over 1,350 miles of lavadas, most of which serve as walking paths for tourists.
Size: 16 x 12 inches. Year: 2017.
The original painting is not for sale.
Only prints and the digital file is available.
