Watercolour painting of Hohensalzburg in Austria. This medieval castle atop the Festungsberg at a height of 500 meters is one of the largest medieval castles in Europe. This emblematic building dominates the Salzburg skyline. In this painting my focus was just that, the fortress itself, so I only suggested the buildings of the city at the foot of the hill with simple marks.
