At times the simplest subjects inspire me to paint, such as this unintentional arrangement of fruits in my kitchen. The reflections on the granite worktop prompted me to grab my brushes. I love the contrast between the bright colours of the fruits and the shiny soft grey surroundings that brings out the colours even more.
