Watercolour illustration of a purple starling or purple glossy starling which I photographed in Birdworld near Farnham in England. Although it's called purple starling it's more of a cobalt blue colour with turquoise blue/geen wings. This little bird was looking down for a second, looking like it is expressing sorrow or sadness or as if it was saying: I'm so sorry. Perhaps a good way to say sorry with this cute little bird painting. Perfect gift for any bird / nature lover.
