Watercolour impressionism of a peaceful landscape along the river with riverside trees and plant reflecting in the water. Painting scenes like this makes me most at peace as it brings back childhood memories of my home town, which is a riverside town in Hungary. In fact my very first watercolours were of boats and dinghies on the River Danube. In my teenage years, after school, I used to seek refuge by the river with my sketchbooks, dreaming about painting like the great masters of plein air artists of the past whom I admire.
