Watercolour painting of the beautiful beach of North Sands in Salcombe, England. One would think it's a scene from a tropical country with the turquoise blue and green waters of the calm ocean yet it's one of the spectacular beaches on the Devon coast, a favourite by British and foreign visitors. I kept the hillside buildings only suggestive as they weren't my main focus. The distant shoreline has been reduced to just one line of dark shadows to contrast with the translucent shallow water. A cheerful scene to brighten up any room or anyone's mood.
