Watercolour painting of sunflowers in a vase on a wooden table. I grew these sunflowers next to the shed in my garden. The turquoise blue flower pot was perfect to contrast with the yellows and oranges of the flower petals. I simplified the busy background by adding textures by way of using salt and drops of water. The converging lines of the wooden table give it an interesting perspective.
