This is my first orchid painting from the series I've started after visiting the Orchid Festival in Kew Gardens in London, UK. It was fascinating to see this exhibition again, after the last 2 years, that took place once again in the Princess of Wales Conservatory. I'm not very good with the names of the different species, so I will be just giving my orchids catchy titles rather than their scientific names as there are so many varieties. They are mainly from Costa Rica, celebrating the rich flora of this small Central American country.
