Watercolour painting of the bridge over the river Avon and stone buildings in the centre of Bradford-on-Avon, one of the beautiful Cotswold towns in Wiltshire, England. At this scale I had to simplify the buildings into simple blocks and shapes that show up from behind the lush green summer trees. From this viewpoint the modern look of the building on the right nicely contrasts with the more traditional architecture on the left side of the stone bridge. My aim was to capture the overall feel for this panoramic small town.
