My latest autumn woodland painting featuring a part of these ancient woods in my neighbourhood in the fall season. This particular area of it with the tree lined lake is an idyllic spot. I can walk around this small forested area and always see it with new eyes. The shadows created on the ground create interesting patterns at different times of the day which I find intriguing and inspiring to paint this scene over and over again.
