A quick interpretation of a late autumn, early winter landscape in my local park, featuring the pond with the small island and trees in the middle. Although I used my usual bright colours of Cadmium red, quinacridone gold and green shade blue, the result is quite subtle as I used very diluted washes for the first layer and mixing all three pigments for a more earthy colour palette that's typical of the cold season.
