This is a scenery from the Lake District in England, near Grasmere. In October the mountains display vibrant oranges and rusty reds that make them stand out even more in the green landscape. The Lake District has inspired many artists of the past and present and that includes myself who likes to travel to this outstandingly beautiful area, especially during the autumn. Precipitation is high in this area in any season which makes the landscape even more attractive and atmospheric with clouds almost always present. It was a challenge to paint this scene as anyone who knows this area well will probably know this mountains like the back of their hand. My main focus was the puddle in the foreground reflecting the mountain tops behind which draws in the viewer.
A perfect memorable and lasting gift, also a collectible to decorate any interior.
