12x16 in ~ Painting, Watercolor
I had to luck to visit this amazing site back in 2016, the world famous and world's largest waterfalls, the Victoria Falls in Southern Africa. This is a view from the Zambian side. Although the edge of the gorge seems far away, we could feel the water vapour even from a distance. That year the volume of water was a lot more than it has been recently due to lack of rain. Seeing just a small section of the waters of the Zambezi River cascading down, with a total width of 1708 m, was just the most memorable places of my travels in this region. Visitors are often ambushed by the local baboons trying to steal food, which isn't recommended to bring to this area.
Watercolour on a 300gm rough textured paper. Size: 16 x 12 inches. Year: 2022.
