My latest watercolour painting of a resting cheetah. Painted from a photo provided by a friend who lives and works in Malawi. These cheetahs have been introduced to the wildlife park recently. I tried to capture that typical posture of this beautiful creature that makes it so recognisable, his long legs, long body and tail and relatively small head. I used the colours that one can experience during the dry season on the savannah.
