My latest waterlily pond painting. As mentioned before, these waterlilies, called nymphaea colorado, grow in my garden pond. They're a peachy pink colour and they multiply fast. This is from last summer's display when the pond got quite overgrown with them. Every year I'm inspired to paint them and each time slightly differently.
This painting is a longer panel of 20 x 10.5 inches on Fabriano watercolour paper. Year: 2021.
