I painted this scene before of this colourful autumn landscape. This one is a studio version and is a recreation of my previous sketch and my imagination. I also added some birds in flight and in the water to make it more lively. I worked wet into wet to create this soft, impressionistic landscape. I also used salt for the foreground reed to add interest and texture.
