A new version of the same view I painted before of Lake Balaton which is located in Western Hungary. Due to its size Hungarians call it the Hungarian sea. On a calm day the water appears like a mirror, reflecting the clouds or blue sky above. On this day at Balatongyorok, a storm was approaching from the direction of the ancient mountain tops shown in the distance. On stormy days the water appears an emerald green colour with rough waves forming on the surface which makes it dangerous to be in the water during that time. I added some sailing boats in the distance and some birds in the sky to make it come alive.
