Many years ago I took a boat trip to see the wildlife along the coast of beautiful Wales. This is a scene from the coastal rocks off St. David's Head. Most of these small islands and rocks are covered in bird droppings, such as gannets that were abundant in this area. We also saw porpoise in the water and a lot of jelly fish. The water appeared smooth as a mirror in places but close to the rocks and where our boat disturbed the water it created a lot of ripples. It was such a wonderful trip with all the magnificent sights such as this one. I used the reference photos I took and created this painting to show a wider view of this coastline.
