11x11 in ~ Painting, Watercolor
I had the luck to visit this natural wonder of the world, the Victoria Falls on the border of between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This is the view from the Zambian side at Livingstone. The world's largest waterfall with a width of 1708 m. No surprise it's called "The Smoke That Thunders" in the local language. Sadly, over time the volume of water ,due to lack of rain has reduced, and often the visitor can see a less watery display.
I used the colours of a rainbow that was present at the time around the bridge which is a different view.
Watercolour on paper. Size: 31 x31 cm, square-shaped. Year: 2022.
The original painting is for sale in my Etsy store: WatercoloursByLia.
